BiLD Expo: Celebrating B&H Photo's 50th Year Anniversary
Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the BiLD Expo, an event organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic B&H Photo. It was an event I had been eagerly looking forward to, and it did not disappoint.
As a photographer and videographer, I rely on a variety of equipment to capture the perfect shot or create compelling videos. Many of the tools and products I use daily come from brands like Canon and Profoto. These brands have become an integral part of my creative journey. So, having the chance to engage with the very companies behind the gear I love was a dream come true.
At the BiLD Expo, I had the privilege of speaking with representatives from Canon, the company responsible for manufacturing the cameras and lenses that have become an extension of my vision. Exploring their latest offerings and learning about the innovative technologies they're developing was incredibly inspiring. I left with a renewed appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into each piece of photographic equipment.
Profoto , the renowned manufacturer of studio lighting equipment, was another highlight of the event. Their flashes have played a crucial role in my studio work, enabling me to capture stunning images. Engaging with their team and witnessing their commitment to pushing the boundaries of lighting technology was truly enlightening.
A Photographer's Playground
The BiLD Expo was more than just a trade show; it was a photographer's playground. Booths were adorned with the latest gadgets and photography equipment, showcasing the cutting-edge technology that continues to shape our craft. The opportunity to get hands-on with these tools, experimenting and imagining the possibilities, left me feeling invigorated and ready to take on new challenges.
